…a few young Vietnamese gathered for a beer one evening. They talked about life together and stumbled upon the fact that many of them were unfamiliar with their own cultural heritage and roots. They decided to change that. They created an informational blog and the concept of Sapa Trip excursions, which today opens a window into Vietnamese culture for tens of thousands of people. The small project continued to grow, and today it has become a company that also offers tours of Prague’s Sapa, gastronomic experiences, facilitates cooperation between the Czech and Vietnamese communities, and supports other social projects, such as the operation of a Czech school in Vietnam. Although we have many more projects, we still enthusiastically strive to connect Czechs and Vietnamese and build a bridge between our cultures.
That’s us, your Sapa Trip team, guiding you through Vietnam.
We love helping people discover the beauty and secrets of Vietnamese culture. It’s our passion for sharing knowledge and our determination to break down prejudices that drives us forward and makes us the Sapa Trip team.
We’re here for you to show you the best of Vietnamese culture. With us, you can be sure that nothing will escape you from the world of Sapa and that you will take away joy and inspiration from our experiences. Are you ready to explore Vietnam with us? The Sapa Trip team is looking forward to it!
Even though I was born in the Czech Republic, I always studied Vietnamese culture with my heart. In my 20s, I went to Prague, where I found my place and a group of friends with whom I have the same enthusiasm for life. Sapa trip is one of the projects that my partner and I founded. The goal is to deepen people’s love for Vietnam and its culture.
After six months of studying in Nha Trang, I decided to stay in Vietnam for another 2 years and accompany Czech tourists. I already gained experience in the tourism industry while working in hotels and while studying. Vietnam, I must say, literally captivated me, because it is the hospitality and cordiality of the locals that represents the real Vietnam for me. After covid, I decided to stay in the Czech Republic and am coordinating the Sapa Trip or Czech Republic project of the Vietnamese Educational Institute.
From a young age I was expected to lead my clan as a future chieftain. Thanks to this, I decided to study Vietnamese studies at the Faculty of Arts, UK, and thus gain a deeper understanding of my mother culture. However, I do not want to keep the acquired knowledge “in a drawer” and my goal is to make the basics of Vietnamese culture known not only to my peers from the so-called “banana” generation, but also to the general public.
At the beginning there was a bunch of enthusiasts, to whom our special thanks go. In the beginning, they were the ones who helped with the school and volunteered in their free time to make Sapa Trip work, and it was because of them that we were able to grow into what you see now. Some have stayed with us to this day, but all of them remain our heartthrobs, thanks to whom hundreds of people got to know Vietnamese culture up close on Sapa Trips and elsewhere.
We interpret, translate, organize language courses, hold lectures on culture, and operate a Czech-Vietnamese library.

Through workshops and other non-profit activities, we aim to connect Czech and Vietnamese cultures. To carry out these activities, we handle logistics, promotional materials, and other associated costs.
Our guides at Prague's Sapa are passionate individuals who do it mainly for joy. Nevertheless, we also want to contribute to them for their time dedicated to the tours at Sapa..
